Firstly, this Netflix scholarship is an opportunity for kenyan students in the Film industry to apply for the Netflix Scholarship in Kenya 2022. Netflix in collaboration with Heva Fund is offering scholarships through The Creative Equity Scholarship Fund (CESF) to African creatives in subsaharan Africa who need financial support to get quality university education in Film and TV-Focused disciplines for the 2022 academic year at sought-after academic programs/institutions. In other words, this is part of Netflix’s ongoing initiatives to invest in Africa’s creative industries to transform Africa’s digital transformation in story telling.
Netflix has committed KSH 33 Million towards the CESF in East Africa for the financial support to African creatives. Therefore, this will accommodate:

Students from Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi and Tanzania enrolled in the academic institutions named above.
Students that can prove their financial burden or need and have not been able to obtain financial aid from other sources (e.g HELB)
