The challenge
Global Health and Scientific Collaboration
The International Symposium on Streptococcus Agalactiae Disease (ISSAD) held its 4th biennial conference in Nairobi, marking the first time this prestigious global event was hosted in East Africa. With the theme "From Evidence to Action," the symposium brought together over 200 global experts, researchers, and policymakers to discuss maternal and newborn health. The challenge was to capture the high-stakes nature of the scientific dialogue, the diversity of the international delegation, and the historic significance of the event being held in Kenya.
