The challenge
Promoting Employability and Entrepreneurship in Turkana West (ProSEET)
ProSEET, in collaboration with WIDU.africa, engaged us to support the documentation and communication of the impact of its interventions in Turkana West, Kenya. The assignment focused on capturing success stories that demonstrate progress in enhancing the socio-economic self-reliance of youth across both refugee and host communities.
Through targeted video production and photography, the project documented tangible outcomes in skills development, entrepreneurship, and livelihood improvement. The content highlights how increased access to employment-oriented training and strengthened business support services delivered through structured capacity-building programs and the provision of business kits, has enabled young people to start and scale sustainable enterprises.
The resulting outputs serve to strengthen visibility and accountability for stakeholders, while illustrating the effectiveness of integrated financial and technical support models for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). They also contribute to broader learning and advocacy efforts, reinforcing the role of such interventions in driving inclusive economic growth within fragile and underserved contexts.
